Information from the shareholder

The Management Board of the Company informs that on August 30th, 2006 STALEXPORT SA received from NFOŚ (National Environment& Water Management Fund) notice confirming the amount of shares/voting rights held at the GSM as well as participation in the share capital of the Company, after the registration on July 27th, 2006 by the District Court in Katowice the share capital increase from the amount of 247.205.290 Złoty to the amount of 315.524.046 Złoty.

Prior to the registration of the increase in the share capital of the Company NFOŚ held 18 022 835 shares/voting rights at the GSM of the Company which represented 14,58 % of of the total share capital and voting rights at the GSM.

Currently NFOŚ holds 18 022 835 shares/voting rights at the GSM of the Company, at its participation in the share capital/voting rights at the GSM decreased and amounts to 11,42%.
