Wojciech Gębicki joins the Management Board of Stalexport Autostrady
Wojciech Gębicki, the manager with many years? experience on the international bank market, has been appointed the member of the Management Board of Stalexport Autostrady S.A. The same, the Management Board of the company has been extended by the second vice-president.
Winning Wojciech Gębicki over by Stalexport Autostrady is the successive step in the development of the company, consisting in engaging the first rate professionals with the international experience. New Vice-President of Stalexport Autostrady for many years had been involved in obtaining the international financing for package infrastructure projects. In Stalexport Autostrady he will be responsible for the development of the motorway business in close cooperation with the strategic investor of the company ? the Italian Atlantia ? as well as for the control of the companies of the capital group, while Mr. Mieczysław Skołożyński, the Vice-President will still be responsible for the finance of the company.

Wojciech Gębicki already has a considerable experience in motorway business: in years 1999-2001 he was Vice-President of the Management Board of Autostrada Wielkopolska. He negotiated a EUR 1 billion financial closing of the first section of A2 toll motorway. The project was implemented with the participation of EIB and the consortium of the international commercial banks.
- I am certain that my experience acquired so far will be useful for Stalexport Autostrady. The direct return to the motorway business is a great challenge at present, considering the possibilities opening out in this business ? says Wojciech Gębicki.
Wojciech Gębicki
Is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics in Warsaw and the prestigious French MBA school INSEAD (with distinction). Before joining Stalexport Autostrady S.A. he had been involved for many years in the financing of large infrastructure projects in Central and Eastern Europe. He worked inter alia in EBRD, West Merchant Bank and Credit Lyonnais. In years 1999-2001 he was the Vice-President of the Management Board of Autostrada Wielkopolska S.A.
He got the MBA diploma before joining Stalexport Autostrada S.A.
Wojciech Gębicki is 44 years old. He likes passing his free time actively. He is keen sailor and diver. He also has got the black belt in karate.
