Financial results of Stalexport Autostrady Group in 1Q 2016

The first quarter of 2016 was yet another reporting period closed by Stalexport Autostrady Capital Group well in the black. As compared to the same period of 2015 traffic on the A4 Katowice-Krakow significantly increased, alongside with sales revenues and net profit.

In the first quarter of 2016 Stalexport Autostrady Capital Group generated sales revenues of PLN 65 million. It was mainly the increase of revenues obtained from managing and operation of the A4 motorway between Katowice and Krakow that contributed to this result.

In the reporting period the volume of traffic on the concession stretch of the A4 motorway tended to increase. In the first quarter of 2016 average daily traffic was 11.6 per cent higher than the traffic recorded in the same period of 2015, and it was nearly 36 thousand vehicles per day. This rise concerned both cars (by 12 per cent), and lorries (by 9.4 per cent).

In the first three months of 2016 the Group generated other operating revenues of PLN 864 thousand, which were lower by 6 per cent as compared to last year. Costs of sales were 86 per cent lower, and at the end of the first quarter of 2016 they were PLN 2.7 million.

Stalexport Autostrady Capital Group closed the first quarter of 2016 with a net profit of PLN 41.3 million.
